Competition

Just like soccer and tennis, badminton has a competition in which mixed teams compete against each other. For the region South-West in the Netherlands, there is a mixed regional competition in autumn/winter (September until February) and an non-mixed (ie men's teams and women's teams) regional competition in spring (February until May).  A national competition also exists.

Drop Shot competes in both the regional competition and the national competition and is represented by a team in most classes and some divisions.

For competition players, it's possible to train twice a week. Want to know when? Consult our playing schedule.

Important information for competition players

Drop Shot plays in the competition of the Dutch Badminton Federation, Badminton Nederland. The federation has several rules and guidelines which can be found on their website.
