Recreational badminton
Drop Shot offers the opportunity to play badminton on a recreational level as much as 5 times a week.
At our location Mariahoeve courts are open for our recreational players on Monday-, Wednesday evening and Sunday afternoon.
At our location Gaslaan recreational players are welcome on Friday evening. An finally, at our location Ypenburg courts are open for our recreational players on Saturday afternoon.

Recreational training
We offer 2 possibilities to attend recreational training, on 2 different locations:
1) On Wednesday evening, from 20.15 till 21.30 at our location Mariahoeve recreational training will be given by Charles Goldenbeld.
2) On Friday evening, from 20.00 till 21.00 at our location Gaslaan recreational training will be given by Martijn van Leuven.
You will learn the basic principles of badminton and use a variety of exercises to master the techniques. The group varies from six to twelve recreational players. Training will be given from September until May. During the other months of the year the courts are open for free play.
If you want to join this training, you need to bring your own racket and sports shoes (no black soles!). If you do not have a racquet, you can borrow it a few times from the trainer. Shuttles are always available during the training.

Playing games
Recreational players who do not feel like training can play a game on the other courts. We do not use a timetable, but when it's crowded, we switch after two games. In this way, everybody has an equal opportunity to play.
Toss Evening
At our location Mariahoeve every last Wednesday of each month we will organize a toss evening. Everyone is welcome, both recreational and competition players, beginners or advanced. During this evening all players, naturally if willing to, will be chosen randomly and one will play in 3 or 4 rounds a fun game of badminton. There will be no toss evening during the summer months, when our summer badminton is applicable. Have a look at our agenda here for an exact overview of our toss evenings.
