BC Drop Shot continues to build kopie

With the arrival of Kelly van Buiten, BC Drop Shot has completed its first team for upcoming season.

Kelly van Buiten is an upcoming talent at the age of 21 and is in the National Selection (S-1). Kelly competes in women's and mixed doubles.

Van Buiten: "I'm looking forward to playing for BC Drop Shot next season. I'm also looking forward to working with the coaches. I'm also playing in the German league, but will of course do my best for BC Drop Shot."

BC Drop Shot is happy with the arrival of Kelly. Coach Dicky Palyama: "She is really starting to grow in doubles and is also gaining more international experience. Her willpower also convinces me again and again. With her arrival, the strength in the team is well distributed and we don't really have any weak parts. And also Kelly fits the philosophy of building a team that is a mix of young, relatively inexperienced players and more experienced players."

Chairman Robert Hoogland adds: "At the end of last season we decided to use as many Dutch players as possible. That worked out well, although not 100 percent, but the premier league clubs all fish in the same (too small) pool of talented players.

We hope to be able to keep the even younger players each time in order to grow well and thoroughly into a stable premier league club. In addition to contracts, we are also always looking for opportunities to 'connect' team 1 players and coaches to the club. After all, we are an association and so uniting is our main goal."
