BC Drop Shot reaches another record with 288 players...

“It can't get any crazier,” said our tournament director this morning. Our Badminton club Drop Shot has organized its 11th edition of the Grand Prix | Master Finals tournament has already attracted 288 players, which means we will play more than 515 matches in one weekend. An absolute record!

Even at a time when the popularity of badminton is declining or remains the same, BC Drop Shot is growing against all odds. In members and activities! It proves once again that badminton is a sport that is alive and growing, especially at BC Drop Shot. And logical too: racket athletes live demonstrably longer and maintain better brain functions later in life (through coordinated interplay of arms and legs).

This milestone is not only due to the passion of our members, but is above all a big shout out to our volunteers. They work tirelessly for our successful tournaments and many other activities. Together with that commitment and the invaluable support of our committed sponsors, we are the vibrant association that we are today, with activities for all levels, from top to recreational.

Top event ⚡

The weekend of May 25 and 26 promises to be a fantastic well-attended event, where the top players in the Netherlands will compete against each other, but where there is also plenty of room for players of all levels to compete.
