Two Drop Shot Vets to WK

BC Drop Shot has some top veterans. Two of them are going to the World Cup in South Korea.

Our top players Elke Nijsse (left in the photo) and Sandra Kroon will be active as players at the World Senior Championships, World Veterans Championships from September 11-18. this edition will be held in Jeonju, South Korea. Sandra and Elke fly September 5th.

By then we will be able to follow the performance of our toppers via live streams. we wish Sandra and Elke lots of success and also a lot of fun!

Background
The BWF World Senior Championships are held every two years. This is an individual championships with men’s and women’s singles and doubles, and mixed doubles events. The age categories are divided as follows: +35, +40, +45, +50, +55, +60 +65, +70, +75 and +80.

The World Senior Championships is a prestigious individual event for players . The winners of each category is awarded a gold medal and crowned World Senior Champion in their particular age category. The runner-up gets a silver medal while the third place winner gets a bronze medal. Member Associations are invited to enter up to four players/pairs in each of the five events in each age category.
