1. Vacancy: Members Sponsorship Committee
To strengthen the Sponsorship Committee, we are looking for BC Drop Shot members who are interested in supporting the club through commercial initiatives. The Sponsorship Committee currently consists of only one member (Georgy Sonneville), but our chairman already has his hands full. The Sponsorship Committee maintains contact with the club’s sponsors, handles sponsorship contracts, and works to increase the number of sponsors. The more sponsors the club has, the more financial flexibility it has—for example, to keep membership fees low and/or to build a strong Eredivisie team. We would therefore like to see at least two additional members with commercial expertise join the Sponsorship Committee.

2. Vacancy: Members Technical Committee
The Technical Committee has a wide range of responsibilities. Given the very extensive scope of its duties and the fact that we may eventually want to establish a Top-Level Sports Technical Committee as well, the Technical Committee could really use some extra help. The Technical Committee is responsible for

• Recruiting, hiring, and supervising coaches.
• Organizing the league teams and training groups.
• Setting up the schedule with training times.
• Drawing up the schedule for renting the hall(s).
• Communicating with members about team assignments, training sessions, the league, recreational play, etc.
• Preparing the budget and monitoring expenditures against the budget.

On average, the time commitment will be about 1 hour per week. Certain periods will be busier than others, such as the run-up to the league season (August/September) and the formation of league teams (March/April). 3. Vacancy: Members Youth Committee
The Youth Committee serves as the point of contact for all youth-related matters within the club. The committee organizes and coordinates a wide range of activities for the youth, such as the club championships, the Drop Shot & Friends youth tournament, communication with the youth coaches, and non-badminton-related youth activities like the annual youth camp. The Youth Committee is also involved in the youth leagues. There is close consultation with the coaches regarding youth training sessions and the competition schedule.

The goal of the Youth Committee is to ensure that the youth and their parents feel involved and at home in our club. The Youth Committee meets about eight times a year to coordinate all of the aforementioned activities. We are looking for a new committee member who is interested in helping organize youth league matters and engaging with our youth coaches and parents. To that end, it would be great if this person could regularly attend one or more of our youth training sessions. We also ask that the committee member contribute ideas regarding the implementation of our youth policy. The average time commitment per month is approximately 6 hours.

4. Vacancy: Members Communication Committee
The Communication Committee is looking for talented communicators who would like to join the committee and contribute an average of 1 to 2 hours per week. Are you interested in public relations or communications? Then come help manage the website and/or social media and keep members and the outside community informed about all kinds of th within the club.

5. Vacancy: Members Events Committee
The Events Committee is still looking for members who enjoy organizing events, usually on behalf of or in consultation with the board. These might include outings, dinners, game nights, sports activities, internal tournaments, and social gatherings.
