Vacancy: Member(s) Sponsorship Committee
To strengthen the Sponsorship Committee, we are looking for members of BC Drop Shot who are interested in working for the club in a more commercial capacity. Until this season, the Sponsorship Committee consisted of only one member (Robert Hoogland), but now its activities have come to a standstill or are being handled by the already busy chairman. The more sponsors the club has, the more financial leeway it has, for example to keep membership fees low and/or to be able to form a strong Eredivisie team. We would therefore prefer to see at least two more commercial talents join the sponsor committee.

The sponsor committee maintains contact with the club's sponsors, arranges sponsorship contracts, and tries to increase the number of sponsors.

Vacancy: Member(s) Technical Committee
The Technical Committee has a broad range of tasks. Due to the very extensive range of tasks and the fact that we may also want to set up a Top Sports TC in the future, the TC could use some extra hands.

The TC is involved with

• Recruiting, appointing, and supervising trainers.
• The division of competition teams and training groups.
• Setting up the schedule with training times.
• Drawing up the schedule for hall rental hours.
• Communication to members about team divisions, training, competition, free play, etc.
• Preparing the budget for the required funds and monitoring the budget in relation to expenditures.

On average, the time commitment will be about 1 hour per week. Some periods will be busier than others, such as the run-up to the competition (August/September) and the division of competition teams (March/April).

Vacancy Youth Committee
Our club cannot do without volunteers. Volunteers who have ideas and volunteers who can put them into practice.

There is currently a vacancy within the youth committee. A short "job description" can be found below. Are you interested or do you have a question? Then send an email to jeugd@bcdropshot.nl

The youth committee is the point of contact for all youth matters within the club. The committee organizes and arranges various activities for the youth, such as the club championships, the Drop Shot & Friends youth tournament, contact with the youth trainers, and non-badminton related youth activities such as the annual youth camp.
The youth committee is also involved in the youth competitions. There is close consultation with the trainers about youth training and competition divisions.
The aim of the youth committee is to ensure that the youth and their parents feel involved and at home at our club.
The youth committee meets about eight times a year to coordinate all the above activities.

We are looking for a new committee member who is interested in helping to organize youth competition matters and who enjoys chatting with our youth trainers and parents. For this, it would be helpful if this person is regularly present at one or more of our youth training sessions. We also ask the committee member to contribute ideas about the implementation of youth policy.
The average time commitment per month is about 6 hours.
