Competition

Starting with the 2026–2027 season, teams will compete in a new format for the youth league (September through February). The Youth League features the following categories: Silver (U11), Gold (U13), D, C, B, and A. The idea behind these categories is to group players by skill level rather than age, although there are still separate categories for the youngest players. Each youth player’s skill level is determined using a skill rating system. All matches a youth player plays in the youth league are taken into account when determining their playing strength.

Drop Shot will have the following youth league teams in the 2026–2027 season:

• Category A-8 - Team J1
• Category A-6 - Team J2
• Category B-8 - Team J3
• Category B-6 - Team J4
• Category C - Teams J5 en J6
• Category D - Teams J7, J8, J9, J10 en J11
• Gold - Teams J12 en J13

Join During the Season
If your child is looking for a new club and a new team during the season, you’re more than welcome to join us. There’s often still a spot available on a suitable team, and we also regularly call on substitute players.
