Bc Drop Shot in The Hague is the club in badminton playing in the Netherlands. BC Drop Shot brought badminton to the Netherlands in 1947, but is characterized by young enthusiasm and plenty of activities. BC Drop Shot is badminton for all levels and everyone!
Rich history and ample possibilities
BC Drop Shot is the oldest badminton club in the Netherlands, founded on October 1, 1947. Our long history has resulted in three national championships and a few Dutch champions. We are now a large, broad association for recreation, youth and competition players of all levels.
For the top and recreational badminton player
Bc Drop Shot has been playing at the highest level in the Netherlands since 2019, after 25 years: the Eredivisie and immediately reached the final. BC Drop Shot has ambitions, but is also your club for recreational badminton, fun and healthy. Our youth department is one of the largest in the Netherlands.
Recreational / Free

Mariahoeve - Morgenstond
Bc Drop Shot heeft haar thuisbasis in Sportcentrum Mariahoeve (voor de wijken Mariahoeve, Haagse Hout en Bezuidenhout). Daarnaast bieden we badminton in de wijken Ypenburg en Morgenstond.
Bc Drop Shot can be found at 2 locations in The Hague. Our 'home base' is Sportcentrum Mariahoeve (next to British School). There we play the league games. Team 1 plays in the specially built Van de Kolk Arena. Here you can witness absolutely top badminton. We also organize our famous tournaments here.
In addition to our home base, you will also find BC Drop Shot in Morgenstond (sports hall Gaslaan).

The board of Badminton club Drop Shot announces that after a successful collaboration, the collaboration with coach and player Dicky Palyama has ended. Palyama, an icon within the Dutch badminton world, made a significant contribution to the club's growth and performance.

“It can't get any crazier,” said our tournament director this morning. Our Badminton club Drop Shot has organized its 11th edition of the Grand Prix | Master Finals tournament has already attracted 288 players, which means we will play more than 515 matches in one weekend. An absolute record!
