Competition

Since the 2018–2019 season, the mixed and men’s teams have all been playing in the national league (September through February) and in the spring league for men’s, women’s, and mixed teams (from late February through May). The Eredivisie through the 4th Division are the so-called national divisions, and the 5th Division through the 9th Division are the regional divisions. This does not mean, however, that the regional divisions are limited to the Southwest region, to which BC Drop Shot belongs; teams on the region’s borders may also play in a league with “border” teams from neighboring regions. 

Drop Shot will have the following league teams in the 2026–2027 season:

• Premier League ('Eredivisie') - Team 1
• Second Division - Teams 2, 3 en 4
• Third Division - Teams 5 en 6
• Fourth Division - Teams 7 en 8
• Fifth Division - Teams 9, 10 en 11
• Sixth Division - Teams 12 en 13
• Seventh Division - Team 14
• Men's Feather  2 - Teams M1 en M2

Join during the season
If you're looking for a new club and a new team during the season, you're more than welcome to join us. There's often a spot open on a suitable team, and we also regularly call on substitute players.
