BC Drop Shot continues to build

BC Drop Shot continues to build and presents: Iris van Leijsen. A player with plenty of room for growth.

The only 18-year-old Iris van Leijsen reached the recently held Dutch championships and managed to get a place in the women's doubles final. A wonderful achievement.

Van Leijsen: "I'm looking forward to playing for BC Drop Shot next season. I always experience a good sports climate there. They really make something of the premier league and I would like to contribute to that."

BC Drop Shot is happy with the arrival of Iris. Coach Dicky Palyama: "She's really starting to grow in doubles and that's what we really need. She also fits in with the philosophy for next season to build a team that is a mix of young, relatively inexperienced players and more experienced players ."

Chairman Robert Hoogland adds: "The still younger players can grow into fixed values in the medium term. This is how BC Drop Shot develops into a stable premier league club. With those fixed values it becomes easier for all club members to connect to team 1, so that we continue to grow as a club. Connecting and uniting are important goals in our policy."

BC Drop Shot is known for many events. Best known are the successful tournaments. On May 27 and 28, 2023, the Grand Prix | Master Finals Tournament organized again in sports center Mariahoeve.
