Main team BC Drop Shot strengthens itself

The first team of BC Drop Shot, competing in the premier division of badminton, has strengthened its squad with Nick Fransman, one of the Netherlands' best badminton players.
Nick Fransman has been on coach Dicky Palyama’s shortlist for some time now. Palyama played a lot with Fransman and they sometimes train together. Palyama: “This year, we really wanted to strengthen our team with more homegrown players. Fransman fits that perfectly.”
Chairman Robert Hoogland: “We are extremely happy with this addition. We know Nick as a stylist with a beautiful touch. Even just as badminton enthusiasts, we look forward to enjoying his wonderful play even more often. In addition, Nick is very approachable, which fits with the new direction of our first team.”

BC Drop Shot, founded in 1947, offers badminton fun at all levels, from recreational players to the premier league. In recent years, the youth in particular have grown and developed tremendously. BC Drop Shot is known for its many events, with the most famous being the successful tournaments. On May 27 and 28, 2023, the Grand Prix | Master Finals Tournament will once again be organized at the Mariahoeve sports center.
