Thamar Peters new treasurer BC Drop Shot

During the extremely pleasant General Members' Meeting of April 8, 2024, the treasurer was said goodbye after discharge and the candidate treasurer was installed by acclamation.

During the extremely pleasant General Members' Meeting of April 8, 2024, the now former treasurer Roos Beerkens was said goodbye after discharge. Roos initially wanted 4, but ultimately committed to the board of BC Drop Shot for 5 years. Roos was waved goodbye with much gratitude and applause.

The candidate treasurer, Thamar Peters, was installed in her new role by acclamation with pride and confidence.

The board is extremely happy with Thamar. Of course because of her involvement in the club and the sport, but also because of her background. Roos, together with Lisette Ligtvoet (general financial board member), will ensure a good transfer so that Thamar can get off to a good start. It was a valuable moment, guaranteeing continuity and financial stability.

Brief background Thamar
Thamar is now a policy advisor at VWS and has a Master's degree in Fiscal Law/Tax Law. Thamar was a great talent in our beautiful sport, was part of the national selection, but due to serious injuries, her development and wonderful career suddenly came to a standstill.

A few years ago she picked up her racket again and played in our second team. Now Thamar has again been plagued by an injury, but the recovery is going well. Of course we hope to see her back on the track. That's the best part!
