Within the sport of badminton, BC Drop Shot offers everyone from The Hague and the surrounding areas the opportunity to pursue their ambitions, relax, and develop themselves. In this way, we continually bring out the best in ourselves and each other: as people who are engaged in healthy and relaxing activities, want to win, learn new things, and/or are committed to helping others.

How do we do that?
We believe in ambition, innovation & tradition
We are full of ambition. We see opportunities for our sport and our club everywhere. At the same time, we have a nose for innovation. We are not afraid to change our way of thinking and doing things when necessary. As the oldest badminton club in the Netherlands, we always keep an ear out for our traditions. A mix of atmosphere, performance, and quality is central to this.

We harness the power of the group
If we want to get the best out of ourselves, our own efforts are just as important as those of the people around us. That’s why, as a club, we follow a strong principle: doing things together, learning from each other, and making each other better. Whether it’s about badminton or the organization of the club: we try to make the group as large and as strong as possible.

We think positively
We interact with each other in a positive way, for example in communication, training, and coaching. Criticism is also welcome. It contributes to an open atmosphere within the club, where everyone can feel at home. Moreover, we focus on seeing and seizing opportunities. Because between difficulties, there are always possibilities.

Our outlook is outward
We are open to everyone, welcome people with open arms, and include them in the club. We promote the club and make connections with the world around us – through schools and the neighborhoods where we play. We are constantly looking for opportunities that support the club’s activities.

We help people grow
We offer everyone who feels involved the opportunity to grow and learn. We do this by offering training in various areas: for youth, competition players (at all levels), trainers, volunteers, and interns. We offer everyone a challenge in the sport or related topics. This is good for our members and for the club.

We offer 51 weeks a year, 7 days a week playing opportunities for youth, recreational players, and competition players, training at all levels, many matches for those who want to compete with others, events for members and other badminton players, and activities for everyone who enjoys being active with and/or for others.
